6th Haiti Funders Conference: Commitment and Collaboration
The 6th Haiti Funders Conference gathered 150 donors, foundation representatives, nonprofit leaders and experts in Boston from June 4-6, 2025 to deepen understanding of the major forces shaping the country situation, share experiences and strategies, and envision the future of development assistance in Haiti following profound changes in the foreign aid landscape. The theme “Fertile Ground: Collaborating for Impact” was a reminder that there are strategic investments philanthropy can make to fuel meaningful change in Haiti, even amid deteriorating conditions in the country.
Panelists and participants shared insights on what is working even amid such strong headwinds and considered how philanthropy can best fuel initiatives that are locally-led, address root causes and drive broad-based and sustainable development. This event is an opportunity for this group of development actors staunchly committed to supporting Haitians and Haiti to deepen connections and build a network that promotes stronger collaboration, more effective philanthropy and better results.
We are grateful to our partners in organizing this event, the sponsors that make it possible and the funders who engaged and continue to seek and support more effective funding strategies to realize Haiti’s tremendous potential.
