Grant Making

Over 14 years, the Haiti Fund and HDI have made a combined 284 grants totaling $4.65 million to local organizations working to improve agricultural output, develop livelihoods, empower women and girls, help communities recover from disasters and support the most vulnerable.

Capacity Building

HDI has implemented our signature two-year capacity building program for four cohorts of grassroots organizations, strengthening a total of 41 community nonprofits.

44 organizations have been strengthened through our nonprofit accompaniment program.

Convening and Civic Leadership

HDI has organized five Haiti Funders Conferences as well as played an important role in mobilizing donor support for response to disasters.

We are also supporting increasing numbers of community engagement events to mobilize stakeholders and spur community development.
